We have developed a simple software solution to monitor critical environmental conditions in high value areas such as server rooms. This software is called ESRMon Live (Environmental Server Room Monitoring Live)

ESRMon Focus:

• Environmental Server Room Monitor is a solution that monitors and alerts on the status of critical installations.
• These are usually high-risk data centres or server rooms that require a controlled environment to function correctly.
• The data collected and reported on includes the power supply, controlled air & humidity levels, access control, UPS status, current being drawn, temperature, humidity, dew point, generator status & runtime and static images.

• SPAR Central Office, Smith & Nephew pharmaceuticals

Application:

• The ESRMon server collects data from the sensors and devices at the installation using various interfaces such as 232,485 or Ethernet.
• The data is stored in a MS SQL database.
• If the data exceeds a custom client set threshold then alerts are generated and sent via email\SMS to interested parties.
• The data is used to generate web pages as requested.
• Reports are generated and emailed to interested parties on a weekly basis.
• Data is periodically automatically backed up to the ProduTech hosted server and alerts are generated should this fail.

Interfaces:

• ESRMon can interface to a number of different equipment types usually found at typical installations such as  standard UPS’s,AMF generator controllers,  Modbus protocol enabled devices and 1-wire temperature and humidity devices.
• It can include video data files in the reports and web pages from installed video devices.
• ESRMon can ping IP based devices to check availability.
